redhot&RUSH: THE BASICS

What is Rush?

Rush is the three week audition process through which Redhot & Blue selects its new tap class. Rush is a multipart process starting with the concerts in Woolsey and Dwight halls in which every Yale a cappella group performs. The next two weeks are filled with auditions, rush meals, and callbacks, culminating in the school-wide a cappella tap night.

How should I prepare?

You will get much more information in the month before you arrive on campus, but begin thinking about what solo you want to sing. But, first and foremost, enjoy your summer, don't stress out, and you will have plenty of time once school starts to prepare for your audition!

This page will be updated with all of the rush details by the end of July.
