the Redhot & Blue Alumni Assocation

More than forty years after its founding, Redhot has over 150 alumni who are represented by the Redhot & Blue Alumni Assocation (RHBAA). The RHBAA's purpose is to facilitate connection between all members of Redhot & Blue, both old and new. The RHBAA manages a monthly newsletter during the school year, a secure database of members' contact information, and the group's quinquennial a cappella jam reunions.

  • Use the RHBAA to:

  • Connect with Redhot Alumni in your area.

  • Discover what the group is up to now.

  • Update other members on important events in your life!

Q: I miss Redhot. When's our next reunion?

A:  We will celebrate Redhot's 50th Anniversary Jamboree and Reunion in 2027! Wow, that feels like a long way away. But even outside of our quinquennial reunions, alumni are absolutely always welcome to swing by our annual Jams and other performances if you are in the area — please be sure to like our Facebook page and join the alumni FB group to get event links, invites, and other updates directly in your daily feed!

Q: Something significant has happened in my life and I'd really like to share it with a group of people I know will care. What should I do?

A: We'd love to include it in our newsletter! Please send our alumni coordinators a little blurb and a photo if you would like, and we'll make sure to share it with the rest of our alumni network!

Q: I'm a former member, but I haven't been getting the newsletter. Is there a way I can sign up for it?

A: Sure! Email Yara and Elsie at redhotalumnicoordinator@gmail.com to sign up!

Q: I'm new to town and/or organizing an event, and I'd like to reach out to other former RHB members in my area. Can you help?

A: Absolutely! Just email Yara and Elsie with your name and address, and they will reply with the names and emails of alumni who live close by.

Q: Hey, that sounds neat! I'd like to make sure I get information on all RHB-related events happening near me. What do I do?

A: Please reach out to the alumni coordinators via email to confirm that RHB has your most recent address! We will never share this address without your permission.

Q: I don't want my email to be handed out without my permission. Is there a way I can make sure that won't happen?

A: Yes. Just shoot our alumni coordinators a quick email requesting not to share it, no further explanation needed, and we will ensure that we do not give anyone your email unless you ask us to.

Q: What information of mine do the coordinators have access to? What do they use it for? What information will they share with other people?

A: The alumni coordinators share with the president, business managers, and tour managers records on the names, addresses, emails, graduation years, and voice parts of former members. This information is used to send out the monthly newsletter as well as to help the group contact alumni in the area when we go on tour. The coordinators may share your name and email with alumni who ask for it, unless you ask them not to. The coordinators will never share anything but your name and email with anyone without your express permission.

Q: I'm looking for a way to support the Association. Any suggestions?

A: First of all: thank you! And yes! You can:

  • Volunteer as a reunion coordinator.

  • Offer to host a get together for RHB alumni in your area.

  • Make a donation towards reunion festivities or a get-together in your area. Just email the coordinators and CC Joseph and Tiki, our business managers, after you donate to specify the donation's use.
